Trout On Countdown Rapala's
I just returned from a trout fishing trip to SE Minnesota where I fished the Root River and some of the tributary streams. I had my best luck on the bigger Brown Trout using the CD01 CountDown Rapala in the deeper pools. Nice brown's up to 18" were caught using this lure. The controlled depth technique was introduced to the world with this lure and I have used it many times for trout and crappie. Whether the fish are suspending at certain depths near the weed tops or on bottom structure, the CountDown can get you to them over and over.
